Oak is proud to support this year’s Ramsey Golf Club’s Junior Coaching and Club Nights, organised by the Ramsey Golf Club Isle of Man.

The final fixtures for the Junior Section this year started on 22nd August and ended on 5th September. The end of season presentation took place on Saturday 26th September in the Clubhouse where prizes were be awarded to the Player of the Year & Most Improved amongst others.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions the Junior Golf coaching had been postponed from earlier in the year but with support from its members, the Junior Coaching resumed on 27th June 2020 with 27 junior members in attendance every Saturday and Thursday.

Malcolm Callow from Ramsey Golf Club commented: “We started the Junior section last year when the Club received a number of generous donations and support from our members. This year, the kids lost a few months of coaching due to the pandemic restrictions but we were delighted to finally be able to resume our activities in June and it has been thoroughly joyful to see the kids improve each week during the coaching sessions. We truly hope that next year will be much better so we can all enjoy a full coaching season. We could not be happier with the response from our members and we would like to thank Oak in particular for their support this year and for helping us build up a great Junior section again despite the circumstances.”

Operations director at Oak Isle of Man, Christian Cowley added: “Oak is very pleased to support the Ramsey Golf Juniors this year and contribute to the development of young golfing talent. This is a great opportunity for junior golfers to practice their skills and maximise their potential and we are very happy to back a programme as exciting as the Ramsey Golf Club’s Junior Coaching and Club Nights.”
