About Zoubeir

Zoubeir holds nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on fund administration, business development, and client relationship management. His journey at Oak began in Mauritius, where he joined as Managing Director. In his role, Zoubeir will lead Oak's operations in Mauritius and will be responsible for driving the growth strategy and enhancing the service delivery to Oak's existing and prospective clients in Mauritius and Africa.

Before joining Oak, Zoubeir held key positions at Apex, a global financial services provider. As the leader of Apex’s Business Development unit for Mauritius and Africa, he spearheaded the sales strategy, earning the trust of clients and stakeholders. Prior to that, Zoubeir served as the Director of Apex’s Centre of Excellence for shared services, ensuring efficient delivery according to clients’ service level agreements (SLAs). His extensive experience also includes collaborating with global service providers and multinational clients across various jurisdictions and asset classes.

Zoubeir is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He holds a master’s degree from ESCP – EAP and a bachelor’s degree from Lancaster University.

Outside of Work

Beyond the boardroom, Zoubeir's passions come to life. As a car detailing enthusiast, he revels in the art of restoring and enhancing vehicles. Football is another love, and Zoubeir follows the sport with unwavering enthusiasm. His commitment to environmental well-being extends to gardening and composting—a reflection of his dedication to sustainability. Weekends find him enjoying quality time with his wife, children, and family.
