About James

James is an experienced IT and Information Security professional based in Guernsey. Beginning his career in aircraft maintenance, he developed a strong foundation in reliability, accountability, and attention to detail.

Prior to joining Oak, with nearly a decade in IT and over six years specialising in Information Security, James has built a reputation for delivering clear, effective IT and Security consultancy to a wide range of organisations.

As Service Delivery Manager at Oak, he is responsible for shaping and delivering high-quality technology support across the organisation.

Outside of Work

Outside of the office, James enjoys exploring the scenic coastlines of Guernsey, making the most of island life. He has a keen interest in aviation, a nod to his early career in aircraft maintenance, and is an avid flight simulation enthusiast. When not immersed in technology, James enjoys discovering new local pubs—especially those hosting a good meat draw—and spending quality time with friends and family.
