About Hans

Hans has over 15 years' experience in the financial services sector, mainly within Company & Trust Administration and AML & Compliance. He joined Oak Mauritius in August 2019 and currently serves as Manager, File Reviews. During his time at Oak, he has also held the position of Review Officer and Deputy MLRO.

Hans, currently manages the review function for Mauritius, Guernsey, and Jersey offices; supervises a diverse team comprised of junior and senior staff; maintains review schedules; prepares management reports and assist in drafting of compliance/AML policies and procedures.

He holds an International Graduate Diploma in Financial Crime Compliance from the Open University; a Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering from STEP; an LLM in Financial and Commercial Law from the University of Central Lancashire; a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Hons and a BA (Hons) in History with International Relations from the University of Mauritius.

Outside of Work

In his spare time, Hans is a literary enthusiast, enjoys going to the cinema and being in nature.
