Our Mauritius office is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Technology team on a permanent basis.
The primary purpose of this role is to support the ongoing development of the Microsoft Fabric data platform by integrating and managing data across Azure cloud and on-premises environments. The role involves developing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes, with a focus on ensuring automation, performance, and scalability. The jobholder will also be responsible for continuously monitoring and optimizing data pipelines to meet performance requirements, troubleshooting
and resolving issues related to data processing, ingestion, and transformation.
Additionally, ensuring data quality, effective management, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance data usability are key responsibilities.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in data engineering, with hands-on expertise in designing and managing data integration and ETL pipelines. Proficiency in building data architectures using Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Power BI and related Microsoft tools, along with strong skills in SQL and Python is essential.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel daily to the Oak office located at Cascavelle Business Park.
