We’re a proud sponsor of The Beau Sejour Barracudas Swimming Club and the Guernsey Amateur Swimming Association, enabling the junior and senior squads to continue competing at all levels, including Island, Channel Island, Regional, National, and International.
From those representing their club for the first time to those who have reached international level representing Guernsey at the Island Games, Commonwealth Games, and Youth Games, and even selected to represent the United Kingdom, the Club has an impressive history of success.
In addition to the competitive aspect, the Swim School and the Barracudas have raised thousands of pounds for local charities over the years.
Founder, Mark Chasey was pleased to attend the first training sessions of 2023 and present the annual year-end awards to members.
Mark said, “Both the Barracudas and the Swim School play an important part in sport in Guernsey - raising the profile of swimming locally, so we are very happy to continue with our support. We especially look forward to continuing to support the Club’s own championship event held throughout the year known as the Oak Series which encourages a new generation of swimmers coming through the ranks to reach their full potential.”
The Directors of the Barracudas Alison Frankland and Debbie Le Noury added. “We are extremely grateful for Oak’s continued support. The Club relies heavily on its team of volunteers and Oak’s involvement means our swimmers can continue to compete at the highest level both on and off island, to reach their own individual goals. We are looking forward to working in close harmony with Oak and thank them for their continued support”.
Congratulations to all the winners of the evening. We look forward to continuing to support this incredible community.
