In 2019, Oak Group and Male Uprising Guernsey (MUG) opened the doors to the revitalised Oak Multidisciplinary Treatment Room (MDT) at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, Guernsey. This opportunity arose due to our founder, Mark Chasey's, involvement with MUG and we are proud we were able to support the hospital with this crucial upgrade.

The Oak MDT room provides a high-spec space for doctors to discuss the essential management of cancer patients in the Bailiwick with medical specialists based in the UK. The technology installed has enabled all attendees, including those calling in from overseas, to analyse the patients’ radiological and pathological investigations during meetings.

Five years on, we revisited the hospital to hear how the upgrade has impacted the patients and hospital team. Watch the video below or here.

Oak is fundraising for MUG throughout the month of June to add to the £100,000 we have already donated over the years. If you’d like to support, please do so here.
