James Tracey

With over 20 years’ experience, James has extensive knowledge of investment and wealth management structures across a wide variety of asset classes.

​James has held numerous directorship positions for management and investment companies and board positions for operating companies in the Channel Islands and the UK, notably being appointed as Managing Director of JTC's Guernsey office in 2018. James joined Oak in 2022 as Managing Director, Leading and supporting the Guernsey fund administration team. He is also passionate about supporting and promoting ESG at board level, engaging in formal and self-directed studies on sustainability and ESG-related topics. ​​

James is a graduate of Massey University in New Zealand, holding a Bachelor of Business Studies, majoring in Economics. He has also completed professional level exams for the Chartered Governance Institute, is a member of the Chartered Securities and Investments Institute and the Institute of Directors and most recently certified as Carbon Literate.

OUTSIDE OF WORK

​A keen sportsman, James can be found giving back to the community by coaching both men’s and youth basketball. ​
