12 December 2024 Oak's six-year sponsorship of Barracudas comes to a close
As 2024 ends, we reflect on the incredible journey of the Barracudas Swimming Club, proudly sponsored by Oak for the past six years.
The Barracudas, based in Guernsey, compete at various levels from club to international competitions. The club has seen its members excel in numerous events, including the Island Games and Commonwealth Games. The swimmers' dedication and hard work have been evident in their commendable performances and the pride they take in representing their club and sponsor.
Oak's support has enabled the Barracudas to compete at the highest levels by helping to cover travel and competition costs. Over the years, the swimmers have travelled to various competitions, showcasing their skills and raising the profile of both the club and Oak. The sponsorship also included a full revamp of the Barracudas' and Swim School's kit, strengthening their identities and ensuring they look their best at every event.
