August 30, 2019 Oak Ambassador, celebrates tournament success

Oak is proud to sponsor the Isle of Man’s pro-golfer, Tom Gandy, who has recently competed in the ISPS Handa World Invitational event held at the Galgorm and Masereene Golf Courses in Northern Ireland.

This was Tom’s first foray onto the Challenge Tour, which is the next level of competition above the EuroPro events and only one tier below his ultimate goal of earning a full European Tour card.

It has been a busy season for Tom, with three top 20 finishes in the PGA EuroPro Tour earlier this summer which saw him climb into the top 60 berth in the Tour’s Order of Merit which he needs to secure his place for the end of season Championship, The Race to Desert Springs, held in Spain in October.

Managing director of Oak in the Isle of Man, Tanya O’Carroll, said: “It’s fantastic to see Tom’s progression over the course of his tournaments and how he’s consistently improving and representing the Isle of Man in the golfing world.
