February 10, 2023 The Everest Challenge!
Find out how our people performed in their most recent charity challenge
Our Guernsey team participated in the Val De Terres Everest Challenge this January.
Participants were asked to walk or run the equivalent of Mount Everest, sitting at 8848 metres, with the aim to raise money for the Smile for Georgie Foundation.
The challenge began on January 1st and spanned the entire month, during which our colleagues not only supported one another but, with a touch of healthy competition, documented and competed against each one another.
The team did an amazing job by completing the challenge and raised more than £500, which was donated to the foundation.
Our team absolutely loved this event which not only raised money for a worthy cause, but also assisted in overcoming the January blues and helped some regain some fitness after the holidays, leaving participants feeling great, both physically and emotionally.
