June 18, 2019 Oak takes part in Prosperity Day 2019
Oak Jersey pedalled as hard as they could for 10 minutes each
Last Friday Oak Jersey participated in the 5th annual Prosperity Day cycle challenge – our team consisted of Jean-Luc Piazza, Jo Gorrod and John Doublard who all pedalled as hard as they could for 10 minutes each, with a total distance covered of 13.3KM!
To raise funds for this challenge we had a cake sale, held a raffle, Zach O’Shea agreed to have his legs waxed and John volunteered to have his head shaved!
Overall we raised just over £1000 for the wonderful work they do at Beresford Street Kitchen & Jersey Cancer Relief
